If you haven’t, I have another question for you: have you been living under a rock since 2021? Honestly, I would be so surprised if you said no to the first question – let’s face it, it’s probably my top album of all time, and from what I’ve heard across the internet, - it’s brutal how positive people’s feedback was in the topic of this debut! Ha ha, sorry about that… I forgot to mention, I will be making some puns about the song’s names as bad jokes are my favourite crime! However, I feel the same way about what people have said, and I know it’s a bit late to be making this article because the release of Sour was in 2021, but I’m always a little bit late to trends, (seriously guys, it’s happened to me enough times that I’m getting deja vu!) and anyhow, I gave a listen to it, and I’m really into it now! Also, I’ve heard that Olivia Rodrigo is releasing a 2nd album this year (2023), but take it with a grain of salt, because even I’m not sure how true that is, although everyone seems to be saying it! Honestly, it feels like I’ll be getting my driver’s license by the time it’s released! (Fine, I’ll stop for now…) However, I’m more here to talk about the present (or some might argue the past), rather than the future, and what amazes me with this album is that it has many different songs in there, despite the fact that there are 5 songs which all sound quite similar – but there are 5 more that really shine out to me and are all some of my favourite tracks of all time – I’ll give you a hint: two of them are severely underrated, and then there’s one that fits into neither of those categories which will be my runner-up… I will also be saying a special mention because it feels like it should be addressed, but anyway, I’m here to talk about those selected ones that feel like a needle in a haystack to me, and if you’re interested in that, please read on: (One more thing: this is not a ranking list because I genuinely couldn’t decide on what place they would be in – they’re equally amazing, so if you would’ve preferred a ranking, sorry! I did try, believe me, but hopefully either way, this will be good enough!)
